Allegiant - Niagara to SFB

We are thinking of flying Allegiant October 9th to 12th from Niagara/Buffalo to Sandford. We've only ever flown BUF to MCO via SWA in the past.

Couple of questions:

1) How easy is it to get to the airport, which bridge do you take (we are coming from Uxbridge - East of Toronto?
2) This is Cdn Thanksgiving weekend, do you think there will be bad lines to cross the border (US to Canada) on Sunday October 12th at about 5 or 6pm?
3) How far is SFB to Universal - drive time approx.?

I would say it will be a busy weekend. I've never flown Air Aligaint but I've posted and have ready good things about the airport. Easy in and out I would cross at the Rainbow Bridge. Here is a link for the airport and border congestion.

I've flown Allegiant, niagara to Sanford several times. Queenston lewiston bridge is the closest, you are literally a 5-10 minute drive once you cross the border. Pre load your phone or pad with the border wait times websites and check while enroute. Peace bridge and lewiston change wait times frequently. You will also pass a highway sign once you pass through St. Catherine's that will give you current wait times. For thanksgiving, I would plan at least a 30-60 minute wait, possibly more.

Sanford is a great little airport, I'm guessing less than 40 minute drive to Universal. Good luck!
