We went for the rental because we had to leave so early for our flight for home...4 am. We never rented a car before, but we liked having it to hit the resorts and also for going to DTD. The route on the bus to DTD is so very long. It's a pain. It was our 6th trip and we had never rented a car before and now I would always rent one. It was nice to have for those activities.

Tollway: I think it's $5 and I brought quarters in the mini M&M tubes for there and back.

We are flying Allegiant in July for the first time. The posts here are very helpful. One really strange question about Allegiant. I know you have to pay for drinks and snacks, do they offer just soft drinks or do they have wine or beer? My best friend is deathly afraid of flying and she was hoping there would be beer or wine on board. One glass and she will be napping. And frankly I may need a drink if she has one of her panic attacks while on the plane.

I am pretty sure they have alcohol to purchase as well

They do offer mixed drinks I cant tell you what exactly because I didnt look that closely at the menu but I saw several people getting drinks on our flight
