I am a very unexperienced flyer (have only flown on US Airways). But I found airfare from Nashville to MCO for a total of 350 for my son and I (I know that I get magical express from there). My other option is flying Allegiant Air and renting a car which is about $50 more... Have never flown either airline so any advice would be great!

Your best deal would be to fly Southwest into Orlando and take the DME. You fly Allegiant and you will land Sanfrord and a 50 mile drive to WDW through territory unknown to you.

Thank you! Travelling with a 3 year old and dealing with a car rental alone might be too much now that I think about it!

You might consider car service. Round trip price to Disney would be $100.00 and you would have a babyseat for your child, help picking up your luggage, store stop for extra supplies that are costly at WDW and on your return, drop off at your airlines on the 3rd level. DME drop offs on the first level could leave you a long walk from the ticket counters on the third level. You can schedule a car service 2 hours in advance of your departure time at MCO.
