Allegaint Air first time?

After yesterdays mess with SW and there Hi prices, We will be flying Allegaint for first time From SPFD MO to Orlando. They had a better price they SW and we get to fly from home and not drive 4 hours. QUESTION are Allegaint flights on time, and what can you carry on, water ,snacks or do you have to buy these on Plane?? Also we just paid for our seats,did not want my daughter to sit alone, thought that was different having to pay for seats.....Thanks....

We flew Allegiant for the first time last summer.
As far as being on time, our departing time was but leaving Sanford we were delayed b/c of weather. I dont think it would have made a difference which airline we were on, we would have been delayed.
For our son, we took his backpack with snacks, etc...
Keep in mind, they sell EVERYTHING on that airline.
Soda, water, snacks are available for a charge. It wasnt out of this world, but nonetheless, a charge.
They even had coloring books, etc..to buy if you chose.
We too purchased our seats b/c traveling with two little ones.
I was later told that they accompany those with small children but still felt better knowing we had actual seats assigned.
I thought the flight crew was exceptionally curtious and friendly.
I hope to fly them again this summer but our dates havent been published yet.
