On the schedule it has Disney's Alladin and Playhouse Disney, are these two separate shows? We like the idea of Alladin, showtimes being12:35,2:05,4:20 since we will be visiting on Nov 16(Wednesday) is there one particular show that will be less crowded? Do we need to make reservations for this,if so how far in advance can we reserve also what is the Playhouse Disney show about also what is AMC theatres? Thanks for any advice

No reservations needed for any of the shows. Just show up and get a seat. Playhouse Disney is a kids show is based on several Disney Channel shows, like Bear in the Big Blue House and Rolie Polie Olie. AMC theaters is a movie theater chain.

Do not know about Playhouse, but I don't believe Aladdin has reservations anymore.

Just a note on the Aladdin show. We had preferred seating vouchers for this - they came with the package - and the guide told us the best seat is the front row of the 2nd floor tier. There will be a walkway in front of you. The animal characters come by (and interact in our case) and you can see the flying carpet better.

Playhouse Disney has the kids all sit on the floor, and if they are too close to the stage, they can't see the characters. We went in at the very last minute and seating was fine. I sat on a bench in the back and videotaped it to enjoy later.

This is where we sat and it was perfect!

Me too. We were just there a week before this last Wednesday! Totally agree!!! :) Couldn't have had a better view.

About the show times, since there are only 3 shows, we picked the 2:05 show. I think they will all be really full anyways, especially if they black out the Monday and Tuesday like they did in September. But I heard one of the CM say that the 12:35 show was filled to capacity, and he said that surprised him --and this is in the slow time. I think it was the first day after being blacked out, and it could be the same if you go on a Wednesday too. I would choose the middle showtime.

Ok, as for which Aladdin shows will be the least crowded, basically 1st and 3rd shows are generally the least croweded (lunch and dinner times respectively)

If you do not have a voucher as part of your package and you want to be able to choose your seat show up about 45 minutes prior to show time, if you don't care, show up 20 minutes prior.

If you have a voucher show up 25-30 minutes prior to show time to be sure you can use it, as they only let 50-75 vouchers in each show (depending on how crowded that particular show is, how many levels are open, etc.).

Aladdin show is AWESOME!!
We sat in the 2nd row, 2nd level, and it was great! If we would have had time, I would have watched it again. Very good.

Playhouse Disney-my kids were 5 and 9 at the time, and didn't like it. It was a nice cool place to sit and have a break (you have to sit on the floor) but if your kids are older, it may not thrill them. If I would have taken my kids when they were pre-schoolers, they would have loved it though! But they just sat there kind of bored, saying can we go do the rides or something else fun now?
:)
