My 4 and 7 year old grandchildren are coming for their summer visit. Will they enjoy this? Is it appropriate for their age? Thanks.

Most people love this movie and wouldn't think twice about bringing little ones. I thought it was cute and pretty funny in a trashy toilet humor way (passing gas, making balloons out of a snake and frog etc...) but it is rated PG and the reason for that is the adult (sexual) humor and the word "D***".

Most of this humor went over my 5 year old's head. She enjoyed it for the most part. I believe it's geared towards adults. Although I thought it could have don't without some things, I enjoyed it.

Below is what I posted in another thread further down:

All I want to say is although it was funny and a cute ending, I think it was really geared towards adults.

Some of the humor was above my 5 year old's head and inappropriate for little ones Thank God she didn't understand alot of it. She kept asking why everyone was laughing.

Stuff I didn't like were: "Eat Me", the comment about one of the Princess not putting out on the first date, Robin Hood's song with reference to him "getting laid", the BIG castle "compensating" something else, etc...

Then there's the a** and D*** words.

I kind of wish I knew this before we went to see it but that's my own fault.
