7 Days!!!!​

I can't believe I missed celebrating single digits. Well....better late than never!!




Since I have few minutes this morning I thought I would share the 7 things that I'm looking forward to this trip. (in no particular order)

7 things I'm most looking forward to......


1. Wishes Dessert Party

Just the thought of being able to have a more relaxing place to wait for Wishes to start and being able to enjoy some yummy desserts in the process sound heavenly.

2. Seeing the Magic Memories and You Show

I'm very excited to see this show!! It looks amazing especially the new summer edition.

3. Seeing some new attractions

There are many new things that we want to experience this trip such as Tom Sawyer Island, People Mover, Carousel of Progress, Hall of President's, The Great Movie Ride, and the Animation Academy. (just to name a few)

4. Riding old favorites

I will admit when BTMRR went down for refurbishment and there were rumors swirling that it wouldn't be opened in time I was little worried. I knew we would have a great trip regardless but it really is one of our most favorite rides. Anyways, I'm so glad it's opened and I can't wait to ride it again.

5. New Dining Experiences

I can't wait to try some new restaurants! We decided that since the boys are getting older that we would concentrate on dining experiences like T-Rex and Sci-Fi Dine in, rather than character meals this trip. As much as I love those character meals, it will be nice to be able to relax a little instead of always looking around to make sure we don't miss the characters.

6. Seeing the new Storybook Circus

I can't wait to see all the little details in person. It looks amazing!!

7. Exploring more of the World Showcase

I'm really looking forward to spending more time exploring the different countries and hopefully being able to try a different snack/treat at each one.


So, there you have it! The 7 things I'm looking most forward to. Of course, if I really thought about it, I could think of dozens more but these make the top of the list!

Busy week here so I'm hoping that means it will fly right by.​

Woo hoo, almost time to go!!! You've never done the people mover before?! Such a great ride to relax on. Yay that BTMRR is open again. I was so sad it was closed on our trip.

I can't wait to do the people mover! I'm not sure why we haven't tried it yet.

I've been nervous about going in July because of how hot it's going to be, but it should actually give us a great excuse to try some new rides even if it's just to get out of the heat.

Hi!! I thought I would pop in real quick this morning and share a few things that I did yesterday.

I decided at the last minute that it might be fun for the boys to bring a journal with them to Disney. So, yesterday I put together this for them with help from the DISign board.

Those are a few of the pages. I ended up buying them a small notebook and then just added a few of these types of pages. I figured they could use the rest of the notebook for anything else they want to write about or draw either at Disney or on the plane.

I also put together our mousekeeping envelopes. These are the designs I used. I made two of each of the designs.

Lastly, I thought I would share our countdown calendar and chain.

Obviously, I took the picture last night since there are actually only.........

Aww....thanks! I just love the DISign board!!!They are so talented over there!! I got so many great ideas!!

I know what you mean....Nick is almost a teenager and I'm afraid all these little extras will be a thing of the past soon enough. I'm glad that he was willing to indulge me for this trip!!

I can't believe that I finally get to say that we are leaving for Disney tomorrow!!!

Today is going to be crazy busy getting last minute things ready to go. We did get a good share of the packing done yesterday so that we could see what we had, that way we could run out today and get anything we have forgotten. So far it looks like we only need to get another package of batteries....not bad.

Anyways, I just wanted to pop in quick because I doubt I'll get a chance tonight and say goodbye. But, mostly to thank everyone for reading! It's been great being able to share our plans and my excitement with all of you.
