Boxing Day is usually a day that the recent blockbusters all get released. We had The Hobbit Part 3, The Water Diviner, Big Hero 6, ST Vincent all get released yesterday. Most of those have been out in the US for a while now.

Dad used to take my family used to go to the movies on Christmas afternoon every year. Mom was the only one who stayed home. She had to finish up Christmas dinner. In my early teens, I figured it out: she also got a well deserved short nap while we were gone, some peace and quiet, and a nice glass of wine. I'd always wondered why she was in a good mood when we got back!

Might need a solo trip for that.

Ignoring the fact that it was a warm 31 CELCIUS here. I'm also ignoring the black clouds that have come across Melbourne this afternoon. Looks like rain to me.
