We have reservations for: Chef Mickey, Le Cellier, and Mama Melrose. Thinking about Boma or Ohana, and then still need one more restaurant in one of the parks to eat at! Any suggestions? Any suggestions we can use 2 table credits for?

Boma definitely. And then if I were in the MK I would go to Crystal Palace - food is excellent as is the service and the characters, but the location is terrific. If I were in Epcot I would eat at the French Bistro or at La Cellier. But it is worth it to walk across the international walkway and go to the Flying Fish - absolutely incredible food and service. At the Studios it has to be the Brown Derby for me - I have always had excellent food there.

I highly recommend The Hollywood Brown Derby at Studios. The food and service are incredible.

Our three favorite TS experiences were:
Boma
Crystal Palace (MK)
50's Prime Time Diner (MGM)
They were all delicious and ones that we will go to again next trip! :thumbsup2

What is your park schedule? It's not worth hopping too much just for dining. I match my dining to my park schedule so I dont have to run around and waste time.

Which park do you need a reservation for?

Not knowing when you are going, if you can try CRT. We also like Crystal Palace (MK) & Garden Grill (EPCOT). We liked Donald's Breakfast-asaurous, and would be willing to try Donald's new breakfast at AK.

I would pick Crystal Palace at MK or the Biergarten at Epcot if you are looking at buffets.

Well, looks like you hit EPCOT (Le Cellier) and MGM (Mama's) so I would recommend either Crystal Palace or Liberty Tree in the Magic Kingdom. Both are very popular and have very good menus. Guess it depends on whether you're looking for another character experience meal or not. If you want to use a double meal credit then don't forget Cinderella's Royal Table. They have what I consider one of the best Roast Prime Rib dinners in Disney.

Also, I'm all for Boma as well for either dinner or breakfast buffet. Very unique in taste and atmosphere. :thumbsup2

Are you trying to use two credits for one meal? I would suggest Hoop De Doo. Otherwise, Crystal Palace is our family's favorite. For something different, try Morrocco's restaurant-there are bellydancers for entertainment.

I would personally pick Coral Reef, Liberty Tree Tavern or CRT. I would drop Mama Melrose's in a second. The food wasn't very good, the portions were small and out of any of the restaurants we went to all week on our vacation it had BY FAR the worst service (see my other threads).

We tried Boma on our 2005 trip and I am very picky and did not like it at all. I basically paid $30 to eat spaghetti as I couldn't stomach anything else.

There's alot of different tastes out there, but this is just my opinion.

The coral reef has fabulous food. Was'nt impressed with 'Ohana when we did that in August. Brown Derby was fabulous also. Hoop De Doo was alot of fun and the food while nothing fancy was very good. :)

Thanks for your help! We decided on Boma but still are looking for somewhere on our MK day. We will have an extra table service credit so we are thinking CRT or even California Grill, Narcosses, Artist Point, or just Ohana or Kona? Any recommendations within the MK vicinity?

I have been in the restaurant biz for 20 + years and Jiko is one of the best I have ever seen.
We will be going back in May and will eat at Jiko a couple of times. I highly suggest eating there.

Please try jiko it is awesome you will love it. Coral Reef is the most overhyped restaurant ever. The view is awesome but the food is lower quality of a red lobster and not just a little lower.
