This past nine night trip, we decided to do Universal--DS is 11, and DD is 14. We planned the day for later in trip so we wouldn't hear, "We want to go back to Universal" for too many days. We thought they were growing up and that Disney would seem like kid stuff after the more "grown up" themeing at Universal.
I'm very pleased and proud (and somewhat shocked) to say when we left Universal our DS said, "it was fun, but it's no Disney" and our DD agreed.
We are firmly a Disney family. This next trip we'll never leave WDW.
