Just wondering how many DIS'ers are from the peterpatch area. I noticed hockeymom just got back from WDW welcome back! I have traded messages with a few on here from the area. Was just wondering how many of us are on here.

How did you like the Pop Century resort? We are going for one night the 1st night we get to orlando (sat) as OKW will take 20 pts for that night which renting would be 200.00 and alittle out of the question as we are staying at OKW the next 5 nights for 80.00/night. Was just wondering how you found the POP. Good, Bad, no different than any other value resort? Thanks for your info...

SnowWhite...we really enjoyed our stay at POP...it was only a month old when we arrived, so everything was very new...it is very similar to the other value resorts...I liked the walkway and found everything close to our room (we were in the 50's building...I'm not sure I'd like the 80's and 90's location as much)....pools were nice although I liked the ASMo's better...the one thing I liked best about POP was it's location in WDW...I thought everything was very accessible and easy and quick to get to anywhere in the world...I'm sure you will enjoy your brief stay there...If you have any specific questions, ask away and I'll try to answer them.

Hey Sharonh are you flying or driving? We are driving in Oct again. I like flying down only for the speed of getting there, but honestly I love driving to florida more. We all get giddy when we see that 1st palm tree in georgia, and when we see the "Welcome to Florida" sign. Would anyone be interested in doing a Peterborough DIS meet sometime in the summer? We could do a BBQ and let the kids play (mine will be 2 and 8). What do you think?

I have lived here for 20 years in August, 2005, where did that time go??

We have been lucky enough to charge our way to Disney World, for a few days, for the last 10 years!! We went right after XMas again this year!!

We did a mini- BBQ last year and it was fun. We have more people now so even better. Sounds good to me.

I spent 18 years growing up in the North end of Peterborough - Adam Scott Alum! We now live in TO, but my parents still reside there so we make the trek back fairly regularly. Jo

I went to Queen Elizabeth, Adam Scott and Sir Sandford Fleming. DH moved here in 1989 and went to Adam Scott and Sir Sandford Fleming as well. Nice to meet you............

One more Adam Scott graduate here! I graduated in '87 went to Guelph U. and then Sir Sandford Fleming. I met DW after school and found out that she went to Crestwood, yuck!!

I hope you decide to have a DIS meet. I'm in Lakefield during summer weekends at my father-in-law's cottage. I would love to go to my 1st one!
