We have been to WDW several times. This time it is just dh and I. We will have aps - thinking about really relaxing on this trip and not doing all the parks. We go again in june with the kids. Have any of you done this? Did you regret it afterwards? We will be there for 5 days - one day we will be spending at our nephew's baptism.
thank you sooooo much for all the help on this board! you are all fantastic!

We go a lot so many times we don't do all the parks- in fact we take trips to only see one or two parks at times. We like to take a lesiurely pace as we know we will be back. If you want to see more you can still go to the other parks if you decide to while you are there.

I do F&W every year with a group of friends leaving DH and the kids at home. I spend most of my time at EPCOT and maybe will go to one other park if I am in the mood. My friends all have to hit MK at least once and can't believe when I say I'll pass, but I am perfectly happy to focus on the Wine Festival and serious relaxation! 18 days until I do it again!

So you have 4 days at the parks?

I'd dedicate 2 days to EPCOT and just really enjoy it. Like you said, just take advantage of F&W and take your time. That's what I did today.

I'd probably then dedicate 1 day to MK and then play the 4th park day by ear. If you haven't done Everest yet (and want to), maybe spend it (or part of the day) at AK.

Are there any parks you're sick of? What were you at the last time you were there? Which park(s) wouldn't you mind missing?

My trip this October will include mainly Epcot. I will also visit AK at least once. Chances are EXCELLENT I will skip MK and MGM all together. (I routinely skip MK)

We went this last May for 7 nights. I bought a 1 day ticket with waterparks fun and more option. We did TL, BB, DQ, MK, miniture golf, and toured the resorts. It was really nice. We only set the alarm clock once, to go to MK. We are going back again in December. It made us look even more forward to going back. I would do it again! :boat:

We've always taken the kids when they were young and still with us, the trips were more for them then us but now that they are married and gone, we still ask and most of the time still go with us. We also have AP's and like the feeling, since we've been to WDW over 38 times, that we can pop into any park and see one thing we like or just pop in for a bite we like. We've gone to the MK just for Casey's hot dogs, or a park for one shop. We always stay over 8 nights, mostly 9-12 nights and have plenty of time to see and do plus relax and enjoy the resort.

Where are you staying? If it's a nice resort, take some time to enjoy it. Without kids, DH and I make a list of things we'd like to do, then organize it so we can take our time and relax during the whole trip. We sleep in, have leisurely meals, and never, ever rush. A typical day would be to have a morning at the resort, then go to Epcot and just do the country movies that we're usually too busy to see with the kids. Then we have a great dinner right there and enjoy Illuminations. Or we laze around on a boat in the morning or afternoon, then hit MK for dinner, Spectromagic and Wishes. Every day is a real vacation.
