I was just curious of any air travel veterans or travel agents who would know why on my flight on November 27th (the Saturday after Thanksgiving) that the entire row of "B" seats is booked all the way to the back of the plane.

And the airfare was just posted on AT's website about two weeks or so ago. And it leaves at 7:00 am from BWI....

Any takers? :confused3

One of the planes Airtran flies is 717-200. Seating is 3-2. There is no middle seat in the 2 seat column. Either your flight is using that equipment or Airtran wants the ability to substitute that aircraft.

Cool. That makes sense. I noticed when I first checked my flight coming home on the 4th of December, it was the 2 -3 configuration, but they have since changed to the 3 - 3 seating.

Thanks!;)

AirTran always blocks the B seat when they show the seat map of the 737. They also block a number of other rows. This allows them to substitute a 717 if they can't fill the 737.
