All that's left if packing.....3 weeks to go

I can't believe that we now have 3 weeks left before we leave for Disneyland!!!
Flight and room have been booked and today we bought our Dland tickets online. Now all we have to do is pack. I'm guessing that layers for the week we're there is the best way to go ?? 3/11-3/17.
Do you think I'd be crazy to pack a couple of pair of shorts just in case???
Definitely some sweatshirts for night and handy dandy ponchos just in case?
can you tell I'm making list...and checking it twice??

I leave in 2 weeks and haven't even thought about what to pack I'll probably take jeans/capris, a hooded sweatshirt and some different tops.

Very exciting!!! I am a baby so I have to pack clothes for the temperature drop at night even in the summer! Definitely have something you can layer because if it's warm in the daytime it can get cool fast at night.

OMG -- now that you wrote that in black and white I just realized it's 3 weeks for us too!!! EEEEK --- time to make *my* list and check it twice!!! We leave verrrrrrrrry early on the 10th!

It is 20 days for us too! YIPPEE I can hardly wait until tomorrow when it goes town to the "teens" (19 TEEN) days.

Oh, FWIW, I wore shorts one day of our trip last week, it was on 2/10. It was 73 degrees, that's shorts weather for me!

We are going in 19 days, yeah we are in the teens. We went last year a week later and had lots of rain. We did capri pants during the day but the nights got cold. We had a sweatshirt or 2 and coats on top. I even put on sweats because I couldn't handle the capris. Our girls are 5& 7 so we really layered everyone and had to buy sweatshirts for everyone because it wasn't warm enough.

We live in the Northwest so are use to the rain but being out til 11 or 12 it was cold and I am glad we had real raincoats. One of my daughters raincoat was stolen the first morning and we tried a poncho on her that night. Unfortunately it wasn't enough.

I recommend lots of layers, use a locker or stroller to store stuff because it was nice during the day. My husband gets to go to the hotel and bring us back clothes.

We've never bought them in the parks, we have always bought double packs at the dollar store and through them away! I heard that the shop outside the River Rapids in DCA is the place to buy them.

We are 20 days out, too! Sounds like it is going to be busy! We've worn shorts in DL in February so I am definately bringing the range of clothing!

We also brought dollar store ponchos last year but with my 7 year old they were a little flimsy and didn't make it through the night. With adults they work ok but with kids they are large and don't hold up great. I think this year we will get some sturdier ones to bring in case.

We did find a lap blanket/Poncho from Coleman that is lined and worked great to cover our stroller. It kept the kids legs dry as we were moving along. 7 year old has to walk now but convincing 5 year old is tough.

DH and I just finished packing a few minutes ago and we leave in 6 days. Looks like good weather next week so keep praying for us and everyone else heading out!

I packed two sweatshirts, 4 long sleeve, one pull over sweater, 2 zip-up hoodies, 3 tank tops, and some tees. Also 2 pairs of jeans and some capris. I don't do shorts, but love my capris! I won't be bringing a heavy coat, but plan on layering as I get chilled easily!

We will be there the same time but if it's over 55 we"ll be in shorts that's hot for us Canadians this time of year. It was -40 in here Manitoba a couple of weeks ago. Mickey would freeze his tale off up here this winter. I can hardly wait, we are counting the sleeps!

Me too...I need to make our list of clothes!!! Yikes, I am behind. We will be there on the 12th too. Capri pants with no tan...oh my...I may have to stick with pants so I don't scare all of you!
