I'm such an idiot, this has been on my list for months andI completely forgot! I need to rent a double stroller starting this Friday, I've tried Apple, Magic, Kingdom and left a message for Orlando stroller. All sold out! Are there any others I can try? Ugh, I can't believe I missed this!

Maybe try one of the companies you have to meet now for delivery rather than one that can just drop off? Not the best or most convenient, but maybe they can help so you're not completely out of luck.

A baby's best friend and I think p&k family rentals might have something.

Wow, I hope things work out for you. How old are the children? Is it possible to pick up something like a Jeep Wrangler twin?

Thanks, found one at Baby Wheels Orlando. The woman was very helpful and it's cheaper than what I was going to get (includes insurance, rain cover, etc). I do have to meet them but as long as they show up with a double stroller, I will be happy :)

The guy at Magic Strollers was very nice, when I called in a panic and he was also sold out he took the time to give me some advice. He also said that these couple of weeks (after the busy season but before the peak season) it's very common for them to sell as many families with young children go right after the crowds... So good to know for those going around this time - book early!

Glad you found something! I knew there was another company I was forgetting!

Now I don't feel so nuts for booking my stroller about 4 months in advance last year!

Hope you have a truly wonderful trip and so glad you'll have what you need!!

Do you need to be present to pick up the stroller? We rented through Baby wheels last yr and that wasn't the case (they left it at Bell Desk and I got it when I checked in). Are the policies different now?

With some companies, yes, you do need to be present now for drop off and pick up.

Apple stroller, orlando stroller, kingdom stroller can all drop off and pick up directly to or from bell services. I think there is at least one more that can do the drops now but can't remember the name.

Thank you for the list. Does anyone know why this changed? I assume this means for drop off too?

To the original poster: We had a good experience with Baby Wheels last yr. KInd of a bummer you need to be present to get stroller now.

Disney changed it to make money. They went with 3 "stroller" rental companies that can use the bell services. They are charging these companies for this privilege also. The others now have to arrange times to meet you for your delivery and pick up. I used them and it was pretty simple. We chose the time, they were there waiting for us and the same when we went home. Makes some an inconvenience but Baby Wheels Orlando has it down to a science now. We have used them twice and our family has used them also. Depends on what you want out of your vacation. They also throw in a little something special for the kids too.

A friend used them and loved them. Let me know how you like because we are going in September and are thinking of using that company also!

Not entirely accurate. Yes the three companies do pay a fee but the changes wasn't because they wanted to make money but because the bell services/luggage survives were just overwhelmed with strollers. Their storage areas are small and were filling with strollers. The cm were spending a lot of their time dealing with strollers and not luggage (which is what they are suppose to be doing). Having to spend ten minutes meeting with someone to get a stroller is really not a big deal. You can have one parent check in and the other get the stroller, if you time it right.btw this also effects Ecvs.
