Our flights have been pushed back one day and our reservations at ASSp can't accomodate that change (we're getting the rooms at par). However, ASMu does have availability. What are your experiences with all the AS and what are your thoughts on ASMu? Thanks in advance.

We stayed at par at ASMu in August of last year and loved it. It was our first on site visit (not our last I promise!). We were right beside the ASSp and there is not much difference other than the themeing. I preferred the Music theme better than the sports. I thought the sports was over the top a bit, my son loved them both and didn't care he just loved that he was at Disney. The Music was in the middle between the Sports and Movies so we got the best of all three worlds. The bus drivers changed the order in which we were dropped off all the time, so it didn't matter which resort you were at, you always got a chance to get off first. We loved the guitar pool and stayed in the Calypso building overlooking the pool. We were close to the food court and the buses. We loved it and I'm sure you will too. Enjoy!

We stayed at ASMu last September. I liked it a lot. We were in the Jazz building, which is just behind the Calypso buildings. I would stay there this time, but we were lucky enough to have the Pop open for our stay. Mickey

I say you will not be disappointed. Music is a little newer than Sports and from our experience, we felt it was really nice.

We were at the ASMu this past January and will be there again for two nights before our Wonder cruise on 10/5. We've stayed at the Poly, POR, the old Golf Resort (now I think it's Shades of Green), off-site, and in the Village, and I have to tell you that we totally loved the ASMu! I doubt we'll ever stay anywhere else ever again! The property was clean, the whole music theme very cute, and the bus system extremely convenient. For the money that we spent, we felt the whole hotel was an incredible value. I'd ask for a room in the Calypso or Jazz buildings, though, so that you can be close to the food court, transportation, shop, etc.

Hi. My husband and I stayed at the ASMu in prior to and after our recent cruise on the Magic and thought it was fine. We were in one of the Calypso buildings which were nicely themed and very convenient. I would not hesitate to stay there again. I hope this info helps!

I stayed at All Stars Music with wife and two daughters ages 4 and 7 at the time in August 02. We had such a good time my wife and I went back for our anniversary in June 03 and plan another Disney trip for the whole family in 04. We stayed in the Country Fair building the first time and in the Jazz building the second time. We had a great time both trips. We really did not stay in the rooms much. The hotel has everything you need and it is a short walk to the food court. In Country Fair it was a bit of a hike and so we would drive to the front parking lot to get the busses and food or shop. That sounds like a hassle but it really was not an inconvenience. The only negative that I can say came in our most recent trip in June. I made reservations but decided at the last moment to add another day to our stay. I called and a CM gladly handled this for me. We then received another confirmation in the mail detailing a whole new stay for one day. I expected a new confirmation showing the extended trip as a one block stay. I suspected trouble. When we checked in the CM asked us why the other CM on the reservation phone had done this. I was clueless. She assured me that this would not be a problem and that we would not have to move from one room to another. I was told to return to the check in counter the next day and just get new keys. We did this. When we returned to the room that night, you guessed it, the key did not work. We returned to the desk to be told that a new key had to be issued again. We had to return to the desk three times to get new keys before they sent a guy to the door to re-code the key. That should have been done first thing. This caused a great deal of frustration for about an hour and then all was forgotten. The hotel itself is great. Rooms are a little small but like I said you don't stay in them much. It can be noisy and congested at times. Overall you simply cannot beat the price for on site and to me on site is the only way to go.

I have stayed at All Star Sports and All Star Music. I personally perfer ASSp because it is less spread out and I prefer the "sports" theme to a "music" theme.

Yikes, dawgfan! I would hate to be in the Country building! I was in Hoops (the farthest building) once at ASSp and it was fine.

thetraveler, I would take Music and continue to call for availability at Sports. Something might change in the next 2 months.

I have stayed at all 3 Sports, Music, and Movies, personally I like Music the best, followed by Movies, and then Sports. The atomosphere at Music is the best in my opionion and I like there main pool more than the others.
