I could use some help please. My friend and her husband are going to WDW for the first time in November. They are on a somewhat tight budget. I told her to stay at CSR as I have stayed there several times and really enjoyed that resort. She got a great price of $827 for 7 nights including tax. She also checked and she can stay at any of the All Stars for $480 for the 7 nights including tax. What do I tell her--is CSR worth the extra $350? I have never stayed at the All Stars so I am not sure. Can anyone who has stayed at the All Stars comment please. Thanks!

If its their fisrt trip they may not spend much time at the resorts anyway. We stayed at ASMo and liked it, but we were pretty much just at the resort to sleep. The rooms are pretty small but the resort is nice but I'm not at WDW for the rooms. Seven nights is a longer than we stayed so they may spend more time around the resorts. I say go with the cheaper room BUT spend the $350 to make the trip more fun, eat a couple of nice places or do something they might not have done.

On our next trip we are going to take a walk around at some of the resorts, its fun its free and we'll have a better idea for our next trip(and for friends who think we should know everything about disney)

If money is an issue, they should go with the $480.00 and spend the difference on themselves or save it.

We like the AS. I'm really pretty funny about cleanliness and the rooms were very clean and neat. The themes are pretty interesting to a first timer, too, because it's WAY OUT DISNEY. The food courts are excellent. I'd opt for saving the money and spending it on nice meals or special treats/souveniers like the previous poster stated.

I would also go with the All Stars. In addition to the room savings, the food court at All Stars is cheaper. I also like starting at the All Stars and working your way up. That's the way we did it. :)

I say All Stars too. They can find lots of ways to spend that extra money. If it's in our budget, we will do a delux over a value, but unless the price difference is very little, we won't upgrade from a value to a moderate. Just IMHO.We like All Stars fine.
