I am part of a group of 18 that will be staying at AS Music October 2-8 - mostly family and some friends. It will be a blast!

We've never stayed at the value resorts before, and some of us have never stayed at Disney at all, so I thought I'd ask you wise people of the DISboards for any hints, thoughts and opinions on making our stay extra magical.

Are there any secret/special places at the resort that we should visit? Is there space to put up a badminton net - and are we allowed to do so? Is pool-hopping to the other AS resorts or eating at the other food courts reasonably feasible or are they too far away? Would we want to eat at the other food courts or is the food pretty much the same throughout? What building should we request?

TIA for your help!!

The AS-Music has a very nice quiet section with benches to sit on down towards the Country bldgs. As far as badminton, I cannot answer that.

Yes, pool hopping to the other AS's is allowed, they are sister resorts. You can also purchase a refillable mug from any one of them & use it at it's sister resort during your stay. I happen to like eating at the AS food courts, they are pretty reasonable (so are the moderates food courts). There is somewhat of a variety of food at the different AS food courts, not much though.

What building should we request?...~~~~that all depends on where you want to be. I have stayed in the Country section...longest walk to the food court & bus, but very quiet & relaxing. I have also stayed in the Broadway section. Much closer to parking & a little closer to the food court & bus. Depending on what section you are at, when leaving the theme parks, you can hop on the AS-Sport or AS-Music bus if you see no bus is coming for you. The walk isn't too bad... (at least I don't think so, but some do).
TIA for your help!!

Hope this has helped you :wizard:
