I enjoy Pop Century the best. First time there was great - going back again in September. All Stars are too hectic, plus they share buses. Pop Century when I was there has it's own bus and doesn't pick up from any other resort. At All Stars no matter which one we were at the buses always seemed full or had standing room only. Food court was great for us (two empty nesters), only used the room to crash at night after a long day at the parks. We're splurging this year on Florida Res. Seasonal Passes so Value Resorts are always going to be our hotel of choice! We've stayed at a moderate and it was okay. Enjoy your stay!!

All Star Music is my favorite Disney owned resort. It tends to be a lot quieter and more relaxing than the other values.
More couples stay at All Star Music and the adults usually outnumber the small children.

Dh and I think it is quite peaceful for couples.
We enjoy the lush landscaping( All Star Music has more landscaping and less cement than the other values) and peacefulness of All Star Music.

We enjoy relaxing by the pool (there are plenty of chairs and lounges), and the beautiful lighting at the resort by night.

All Star Music is undergoing a refurbishment of all of the rooms and is slated to be completed by June 2007.
The Calypso and Jazz buildings are completed and the last I heard they are working on the Broadway Buildings.

i have stayed at both many times ..pop is nice but it is the biggest of the value resorts..4 floors ..long elevtor waits everymorniing..maids have one on service..if you get the outback..70s building its a very longwalk to anything you want...allstars is smaller 3 floors ..cozier..quieter...but its got its buisy time like any other resort.....plus you can resort hop and see all the other resorts..sports movies music..nice evening walks to see other things..im going back sept 1to 7 ..just got back from pop and sports 3 weeks ago..,was at each resort 3 days each..try a split stay and do them both..

We have stayed at both ASMo and POP. I know that there are quite a few POP lovers out there -- So, I say this as my opinion only. I would never go back to POP. The rooms were ok. The food court was horrible. Not as many choices as over at ASMo. The theming of ASMo was more Disney like for us and our kids loved the pools. Yes, you have to share buses with the other AS hotels but we just planned around it and relaxed. We are on vacation after all. I think that you could run into transportation issues at just about any resort.

We also perferred the gift shops at ASMo over the one at POP. Again - this is just my opinion.

We love all star sports for several reasons. My DS8 loves the theming, we bring a football with us and he has a great time playing on the football field. As well, the first pick up and drop off for the all star buses is Sports. We have stayed there once before and we will be staying there again in Sept.

We have stayed at POP and ASMovies and ASMovies is our favorite, we just got back from 8 nights there. POP is a good resort and I like the theming, but to us ASMovies just has more of a Disney feel. Also, POP is a much larger resort. To us the bus situation is just as good at ASMovies, POP does not share a bus with anyone but it is a much bigger resort and also we had to wait longer for busses there than we did the ASMovies. (Maybe it is not always like that). We waited 40 minutes for a Magic Kingdom bus one night and then even longer than that for a downtown Disney Bus the night before. As ASMovies I have never waited more than 20 minutes at the most and that was not very often. That however, is just our experience, I am sure some peple have had bad bus experiences at the All Stars.

Now I am scared We have only stayed on property one time. At All Star Movies. We loved it. But we decided to try Pop this time. I hope we did not make a mistake.

Don't be scared, you will have a great time at the POP. We are glad we tried it, we just decided we liked Movies the best.

I prefer the All-Star Movies of all the value resorts. It, in my opinion, has the nicest rooms, pools, and all around design. Pop was nice, but you could see the highway from our room and hear all the cars go by at night and it wasnt the best experience but thats just my opinion.

Ive never stayed at POP, but Ive been to ASMO twice. Once when it was new (I was the first guest in my room in the Dalmations section, and once this month in Woody. We loved the huge icons and were very close to the main bldg (food court, bus, concierge etc) and the large pool area, which had a kiddie pool, water jets (or are they called sprinklers?) and the large fantasia themed pool. Food court was large and adequate.

Busses were crowded. Not shared on the way to the parks (in my exp) Usually shared on the way back. Busses became very crowded, but came every 15-20 min. (less at the most crowded times) More than once, I declined getting on a standing room only bus, letting others behind me get on if they wanted. I felt I needed a seat (at least one for me to hold dd2 on my lap while DH stood) At those times, the bus took less than 15 min to arrive, and it was empty, so I had no prob getting a seat then (being that I was first in line, after passing on the SRO bus) I didnt want to risk injuring myself and DD by trying to hold her and balance myself by standing

I agree with this 100%, except for the bus issue. I don't notice that buses to be any worse, usually better in fact, than what I've experienced at Pop.
