All Stars Preferred View at check-in?

We have reservations for 3 rooms at All Star Sports Oct. 18-25. I don't have the preferred view. My 78 yoDF is coming along. I thought that with 3 rooms I might take a gamble that I maybe could get close to the food court/bus stop.

At check-in, if the only way I can get 3 rooms together (2 connecting/1 side by side) is in a building far from the food court and bus stop, can I then ask and pay for the preferred view?

The only way to insure that will happen is to book preferred view now and then it is not something you need to worry about. Also the connecting rooms is only a request and not a gaurantee.

I do think there is something about small children staying in a room and they will then gaurantee connecting rooms???

Anyone know for sure?

Generally if it's a case of small children, hotels make a real effort to make the rooms connecting (they don't want kids running around unsupervised any more than you do!). However, at most places (and I've not been to the All Stars so I don't know), only two rooms can connect and the other one would most likely be right next door to one or the other of the connecting rooms. I don't think I've ever seen a hotel where more than 2 rooms connected unless it was a suite of some type.

I think I will call and get the preferred view--I'd feel much better knowing it wouldn't be as much walking for my dad (oh, and me too.)

We find it worth it to get a prefered room. Our room could be a connecting room so I know they do have those in building 8 of fantasia.
