All Stars Movie ???'s

This is the first time we are staying at an All Stars resort, I booked it this morning, and we are in a preferred room. What does that mean??? Is there a certain building we will be in. I know it means we are close to a pool, and bus stop, etc. We will have 2 rooms since we are a family of 6. I think my kids will really like this resort. I know I have heard the rooms are really small, but I am not too concerned since we will have 2, and we do not plan on being in our room long. Just basically to sleep.

We have never stayed in All Star Movies, but we have stayed in All Star Sports twice. We've walked over to visit Movies, and it is really neat! Since you are preferred, you will be in Fantasia, which is soooo cool! When we go in 2006 we are staying in All Star Movies and getting Fantasia. You will also be close to the pool which is Fantasia themed and has a giant Sorcerer Mickey spraying water. I think you will really like staying in an All Star Resort. We always have!

We stayed at ASMo and were in a Preferred room. We stayed in Fantasia 2000 on the far side that faces a Love Bug building. We would have been better off just staying in a regular room in either the Dalmation {?} building or Toy Story buildings. They seemed to be alot closer to everything then we were and we were paying $10 more a night.

Stayed at ASM 2001. The preferred room is the Fantasia building. Dalamations and toy story(left and right). We stayed in the Dalamation building and was very happy with our location. It was just as close or closer to the food court/bus loading area. There is one loading area for this resort, buy the food court. Save the extra 10 dollars a night and go for either dalamations or toy story

We stayed in the Dalmatian building. I wouldn't pay the extra money, which is $20 a night for two rooms, to stay in Fantasia. My daughter LOVED the dogs, and she loved Toy Story. She had no desire to be any part of the Fantasia area.

We've stayed in All Star Movies, All Star Sports and Pop Century and enjoyed each one. Have a good time!

Usually its the building closest to the main pool and cafeteria...probably can get a bit noisy....We requested the toy Story buildind in Dec and it was great...close to everything....But to answer your question the preferred building is Fantasia...I would save myself a little money and request Toy story....its just as close and quieter I am sure...you just will not have a view of the pool

We love ASMo! We have stayed 2x in "Toy Story". The preferred is "Fantasia". While there is no guarantee that you will have pool view, you can have it added to you ressie as a request if you'd like . If you should decide not to stay in preferred, request "Toy Story" or "101 Dalmations" they are very close to everything too. We are trying POP this time, our DS's are hoping we will be next to the pool so we went preferred and are keeping our fingers crossed.

I actually think that The Toy Story building is closer to the bus stop, depending on which room you get. The advantage here is that there is a walkway from the Toy Story buildings to the bus stop so you can bypass the main building if you wish. It is also a short walk to the food court, and of course the pool.

I always stay in the woody first floor building( got same room 2xs) The fantasia Building are the 2 that surround the pool. I personally would not pay the extra $10 per room for that building. 1st i think the toystory building is just as close and 2nd in June the pool area will be very noisy so I would not be paying extra.
We had 2 adults and 2 kids ages 5 and 7 in the room and were quite comfortable plus we got stuck in the room all day during Hurricane Jeanne and was still OK. Any question ask away i feel like a ASMo pro.
