Hi! We're a large extended family staying in 4 rooms at the AsMo in Nov.

Are the king size beds only in the handicapped rooms? And are the handicapped rooms separated from the regular rooms within the same building?

My sister would like a room with a king size bed for her and her 2 small kids, but the rest of us are in the regular rooms. We have asked for and would like to have our rooms adjoining or close by. Would getting a king size bed/room put you in a different part of the building?

Thanks!
Cheryl

The king bedrooms are mingled in with all of the other rooms. For example, you can have a king room with a connecting door that connects to a regular room with 2 double beds. The king rooms are handicap accessible, but they will put you in them if they don't need it for someone who is handicap. Keep in mind that king rooms come with 2 different bathroom setups. One has a roll-in shower and the other has a bathtub with rails. We also ask for the bathtub room when we have requested a king room. You can call and have this option put on your room request. Keep in mind that it is not guaranteed, unless needed.

We stayed at the All Star Music a couple of years ago. My husband is a very tall man and I was six months pregnant. I requested a king size bed, but when we checked in there were none available. We spent the night in a regular room and separate, very small double beds. I called the front desk the next morning to see if they had a king room available. The CM was very ugly to me and said there was nothing else available. My hormones kicked in and I became very ugly with him and said if they could not get us a king room, I would need to check out because I did not come on vacation to sleep separate from my husband. He put me on hold and said they had a room available. It was a handicapped room. Be sure to check in the cabinet under the television, I believe, there was a small refrigerator. We didn't realize it until we were packing up. Hope this helps.

I'm pretty sure the king bed rooms only sleep two. I don't think they'll let you book one of them for the three of you, unless one of the small kids is under 3 and crib-aged.

I called CRO this morning to make the request and told the agent the situation: my sister is a single mom and when on vacation her two children (8 and 5) both like to sleep with her (saves fighting over who has to sleep alone and who sleeps with Mommy). The agent said that the king rooms are indeed spread throughout the building and then she changed our reservation accordingly. She said nothing about the children being too old for this arrangement and I told her specifically the ages and she also made the changes to our reservation in regard, specifically to my sister's room.

Thanks for all your help.
Cheryl
