ALL Stars & Joining Rooms?

Has anyone ever had them? Did you request them ahead? We Check in tomorrow and I'm concerned we might night get them.

We had connecting rooms at All Star Movies in the Dalmations section. We had requested the rooms when we made our reservations. ASK! They will accomdate you if they can. Enjoy your trip!

We had connecting rooms and it was great! I would call ahead and have them make a note of it!

Make sure you request connecting (rooms with interior door connection) rather than adjoining. Also, if you have small children, let them know. I think you get priority with the little'uns.

We had connecting rooms at ASM. I had requested them at the time I made my reservation. When I called to confirm everything I requested again. Disney will try it's best to accomodate you!!

We've had them in both Toy Story and Fantasia buildings. I did request them when the ressie was made, and then again when I faxed ASMo before our arrival. We didn't have any small children, but I believe that you do get 1st preference if you want them because of small children.

We have always requested connected rooms in AsMo and thankfully, we have always been accomodated. Our situation, however has always been with our girls. Once we had my mom with us, but as a 70 year old diabetic with 2 girls in her room, we needed them close. For THAT ressie, a Disney CM called ME to tell me that they had it all set for 2 Connecting Rooms He even asked me if I had a particular section we would like ... he was special!!!! It certainly added to the magic when we saw Woody & Buzz outside our room each day!

Our other ressie we just told them kids in other room and we had no problem with it. So far, we have requested it and the CM that booked our ressie said it would be automatic connected because the girls are so young. Altho last time one CM told me that they would put one adult in each room when booking it and it was not guaranteed that we would have connecting rooms.

Just wanted to share my experiences with the connecting rooms thing ... for us it has always happened but like I said I have little'uns

Our children were not that young - 15, 12 & 10, but we did get connecting rooms anyway. We asked for one king room and one with double beds and got exactly what we asked for. This was at ASSports last October.

We have stayed at the AS (Mo and Mu) 3 times w/ both Grandmothers.
I request connecting rooms when I make the ressie and then verify when I check-in.
Last Oct. when we checked in AS Mu they said they did not have any connecting rooms. While the CM was looking I noticed the couple checking into next to us were being offered a free upgrade to PO. They turned it down and I was quick to say "I'll take it if they don't want it". They said "Sorry, if the computer doesn't offer it to you, you can't have it". Well, that really irritated me! First they had denied my connecting rooms and then saw an upgrade to a moderate fly out the window right in front of me. I was a bit persistent they get a manager and find me a connecting room. Well Lo and Behold..... there was a connecting room waiting for us.
we found connecting rooms in the AS essential w/ 4 adults and 2 children. The kids just roam from room to room and it's like having a mini-suite!

Yes, we had adjoining rooms this past March at ASMu. We were two families traveling together (with 4 adults and 4 children between us). We requested the adjoining rooms at the time of reservation and I called again 3 days before our arrival to confirm. No problems!!! They even honored our location request to stay in the Jazz Bldg.
