All Stars confusion

Hi there!
I am very confused about AP discounts for All Stars. I am sorry, I tried to find out on my own, but cannot access the search fuction

We are a family of 6 so will be needing two rooms. Staying off site just isnt an option for us. MUST HAVE DISNEY MAGIC AT ALL TIMES!!

I would like to stay at movies, but this really isnt a high priority for us. If I reserve two rooms at movies and get AP's fo rthe group (staying 15 glorious days!!) is there a chance that they will not offer discounts for movies? If so will I be running into trouble trying to change the rooms to music or sports?

And should I be booking now for a trip Nov.27-Dec13?
What are your thoughts?

Welcome to the boards. Sometimes movies isn't offered for AP rates. Usually if they are tehy are very limited and go fast. If you don't mind staying in either music or sports then you shouldn't have a probelm getting an AP or otehr discount rate here, depending on when you are going and if special rates are offered during that time.

I will stay at any of the All Stars and make my decission based on which resort still has the AP rate available for my dates. I have changed my reservation from one to the other when AP rates were anounced and it is painless. They will just apply your room deposit to your new reservation.

You can always book a resort and then make changes to apply a new code. If you are firm on your dates then I suggest you book now. Codes won't be available for the end of the year until this fall at the earliest. To keep a watch on these rates check these boards. www.mousesavers.com is a great site and she will list all available rates. Sign up for her newsletter as well while you are there.

If you want someone else to do the checking for you I highly recommend dreams unlimited. They are a sponser of this board and they will keep checking to get you the lowest rates. They also will make all priority seatings for you and give you an ittinerary. I have used them for three trips so far and will book with them for our next trip as well.
