This is probable a strange question but I would like to know what type of air conditioning the All Star resort have. Is like a window/wall unit or central air for the whole building. I like to sleep with some white noise in the background and wanted to try to judge the noise level the ac puts out.

Each room has individual controls for their AC. I don't remember it being terribly loud but I am sure it was audible.

THere's a thermostat in the room so that you can set the temperature and the air conditioning is central air type. There is no 'in the window unit' which I like because of the white noise. If white noise is important to you (and it may be since I personally found the resort noisy) you may want to bring a white noise machine. Hope this helps!;)

We found the a/c at the All Stars and SoG to be rather noisy. I prefer to not have white noise, and it bothered me.

My biggest problem with the All Stars is that I simply was unable to turn the system off. I could adjust warmer or cooler, but not off. During one stay this caused an uncomfortable draft in the room.

I wanted to shut the a/c off too, because I was cold, but you couldn't. In fact, the heat was starting to come up as I was playing with the thermostat!:D I finally just started sleeping wearing a sweater. My DD and DH didn't have a problem. I guess I'm just always cold. It should have an off switch.

I'm a White Noise fan also. The a/c unit was perfect- not too loud for me. When it did start to get a little chilly I found that I could turn it off. Maybe they have changed it since the last posters were there (or maybe I broke it?? I really didn't break it.. it worked the next night ) It was a wall unit that sat close to the door/window.
I'm sure it will be fine for you.
Have a great trip and Happy Planning!
