All Star Sports

I am staying at the All Star Sports hotel in a few weeks. I was just wondering how are the amenities like the pool and transportation to the parks? Also, is there food service available in the hotel? One more thing: how crowded will the parks be during the week of 8/23?

We were at All Star Sports the same week last year. We love the pool there, it does tend to get a little crowded at night but the kids still had fun. Great way to wind down after a hot day at the parks.

While there last August there were a few youth sports groups staying at the resort. I remember volleyball, baseball, and maybe cheerleaders. Food court was a little more crowded then other times of year we've stayed there but it wouldn't deter us from going that week again.

Transportation is fine. We've always used the buses while staying on-site. The only draw back is the long walk from the bus to the parks and vice versa...All Star resorts from what I remember are the last bus stop at the parks. When leaving MK at closing we had to wait for a second bus as the buses tend to fill up quickly.

I don't remember the parks being mobbed while there. We only used fast passes for a few rides.
