What buildings/rooms are considered preferred in All Star Sports? We currently have a standard room booked, but am looking to see if we want to possibly upgrade to preferred.
Like PP said, Surf's Up and Touchdown are preferred (Touchdown has been added fairly recently to preferred status). Sports is so small that I'd save the money and just keep your standard. We were on the third floor, in the back, facing the woods (building 3) in the Hoops section and still only a leisurely 5 minute walk away from the lobby area.
The All Star Resorts are really small and quick to walk. We were at the very back on our last trip and it was only a few minutes walk to the front of the resort. I would not pay extra for preferred at the All Stars.
Chiming in to say I agree with saving $ and sticking with non-preferred. Out of all the All Stars, I think Sports has the most compact configuration (and this is why it is my first choice when going value).
Agree with saving money. I would utilize the online check in requests to pick location. We have stayed Standard in Baseball, Tennis and Basketball. Hated Tennis location. So last trip I decided my only request would be close to transportation. Got a great room in Surfs Up but the back side facing Basketball. Literally a two minute max walk to food court. That is my plan for now on.
