we will need a room only ressie for one night before out 8 day stay at AoA.

We decided to drive in the day before and get there very late...around 10 or 11 pm on the 21st of Sept.

We stayed at ASMovies June 1 thorugh 3rd and LOVED it. However, that isn't in the budget because its only 15 % off rather than 20% which will save almost 20 dollars which will be our breakfast!!!

So, for a small 10 hour overnight stay in a hotel shoudl we do Sports or Music?

Were all the AS resorts refurbished or was it just Movies?

We were really impressed with Movies as I vowed never to stay there again after a few years ago when it was a disaster of a stay, but my DBF insisted on saving the extra money in June and it was great!!

SO, Suggestions?

Music & Sports have different themes but theyre essentially the same. Sports is smaller/easier to get around, its the first bus pickup and drop off (very convenient)....I love sports. But honestly, no matter which you chose im sure it'll be great. Just pick which theme you like best.

Why not stay at the Clarion in LBV for $50. since its a late arrival for 1 night?

I've never stayed at ASMu but we were just ASp last month and we loved it! The food court was great. It's a small resort with a great theme. I highly recommend it!

I think either will be fine. But if you are trying to save a few $$ just for the one night, I think I would stay off-site especially if you have a car. Most folks that add an extra night on-site do it for the ME - but sounds like you don't need it. Also, Check Expedia as they sometimes offer last minute on-site special rates. I would also consider a hotel in the DTD area. Mousesavers and allears.net also list hotel deals. And, if you don't mind a gamble, you could book on hotwire or priceline. Best of luck.

If you're getting in at 10 or 11 PM it really doesn't matter where you stay. You're only going to sleep there.

We usually get in late & just do a cheap hotel off site before checking into Disney :)
