All Star Sport Resort closing for refurb?

I just read in the passporter that the ASSR may be closing for renovations in the near future.

Has anyone else heard this?
What happens if we have reservations here?

depends - you might be moved to one of the other value resorts.

but if they are full - you are a very lucky person - because then WDW will offer the moderate or even the deluxes to you - generally no extra charge - or a small one for the deluxes....

Did they indicate that the entire resort will be closed? Sometimes they only close one building at a time. And the remainder of the resort stays open.

We stayed a night in the Mighty Ducks building in Jan. on the 2nd floor and they were redoing the wing below us. I'm not saying they won't close completely but they were doing a rolling refurb while we were there.

All I can say is I hope they actually do some refurbs, especially for Sports and Music. Those places are really looking dank and dingy. They need some TLC
