All-Star Resorts ??

We have stayed at both the all stars and 2 different moderates and we really like the all stars. The room didn't seem any smaller than that of the mods. It was 2 adults and 2 boys. Plenty of room for us. I absolutely disagree with them being compared to Red Roof or Motel 6 - all stars are much better!! I do agree with going with the "I'm a kid again" attitude.

I have stayed at the AS three times in the past year. The rooms are basic hotel rooms, but I didn't find them "small". The theming is cute(inside and out) and the food court/pool bar/ hairwrapping/disney store/ lifeguards / themed pools/kiddie pool/playground/laundry/tv for kids in the lobby/mickey soap/towel animals /great bus service to the parks put them far and away ABOVE any Red Rood Inn or Motel Six (that I wouldn't be caught dead at). Of course we prefer a mod or deluxe, but when we make a quick, budget trip, they are perfect!!!!

We don't only use the room to sleep and change. We take breaks everyday, use the pool ( and pool bar), take a nap and our break is no different than if we stay at a mod or deluxe.

DH and I are actually thinkng about booking Pop Century for our anniversary trip next year!

I wouldn't compare All Stars to Red Roof Inn or Motel 6. They are not themed! Their pool...if they have any...are not themed as well. You ceretainly don't get Mickey wake-up call or the Mickey saop.

We love All Stars. It is more glamorous to the kids eye than to adults. The kids..they think they are in heaven!

Four people in the room...you'll be fine. Enjoy the All Stars!!

We have always stayed at moderates and did stay at a deluxe once, but stayed at the All Stars during one trip when money was tight.

It was fine! It was fun. It's cute. There's a food court (which is convenient). You may notice that your room is just a little smaller, but you'll be able to deal with it.

We stayed at the All Star Music Resort In Feb. '03 and had such a great time that we are planing a trip back this Nov.
It was Mom, Me and My Son... lots of room.
Everyone at the Resort was friendly and going back to the hotel didn't mean that the Disney Experience had to end when we left the park.
I say save the money and treat yourselves to a special Dinner Show or Character Meal! (My favourite was Crystal Palace .. but I am a Tigger Nut)
