Hi all!
We're currently booked at Movies for 2/13-2/19 but would like to add on the 12th. I've checked the Disney website every day for the past month to see if any 2/12 availability opened up but so far nothing. Its possible I've been checking at the wrong time too and missing it! We have a few back up options so its not end of the world if we can't get Movies on the 12th - we'll either a. stay at another resort for the night and check in to Movies on the 13th, or b. we add on the 20th instead (flights are significantly cheaper on the 12th, the week before the holiday). I can't stay after the 20th because of a work commitment that next week.
Anyway, I'm wondering if anyone might have an idea why there is no availability at any of the All-Star resorts on 2/12? The 13th onward is available,and I believe up to the 11th is available. I know its Super Bowl Sunday and the last day of the HS cheerleading competition but are those two events enough to have no availability at any of the All-Star resorts? Or is there something else going on that I'm not aware of? I know its the Sunday before the holiday so many like me are planning Sunday to Sunday (12-19), but if that's the case, wouldn't the entire week be unavailable and not just one day?

Edit: Anything up to 2/12 is unavailable. I'm guessing its blocked off for the cheerleading competition participants and families?
