All Star Music

This will be our first trip staying at all star music and I'm a little concerned after seeing a review rating music lower than sports or movies. We've stayed at Sports, Pop and Movies in the past so I know what to expect from a value resort. Has anyone stayed at music recently that can tell me how it compares to sports? My main concern is the room cleanliness and noise.

All Star Muisic is clean. All -Star Music is about the same as All-Star Sports and Movies just a different theme.

I enjoy staying All Star Music and Sports about the same to me. I love be resorts the same.

Well, I haven't stayed at Sports or Movies or Pop but I did just return from a stay at AS Music last week. This was my first stay at a value resort and I was really impressed with Music. The room was nice and very clean, and it was a very quiet resort not nearly as big as I had imagined. We stayed at the Rock Inn on the first floor and our room was fine. Never heard anyone on either side or above us. I liked the transportation there because we were second on the pick up route. The bus would stop at Sports and let people off, then stop at Music, then go on to Movies. We never had to stand but most of the time the people at Movies had to stand. I didn't like the food court there at all. I guess I was expecting more from what I had read here on the DIS boards but it wasn't nearly as nice as POR food court.

I stayed at ASMusic in November '03 and had no problems. Like all the AS's, it's no-frills. I didn't spend much time in the others (PC wasn't open yet), but I didn't see any major differences.

I've stayed at Music, Sports, and Pop Century.

I think Music rates lower simply because the icons and decor are not as exciting as the other value resorts. People find it boring compared to Movies or Sports.

Music is my favorite value resort because it's the quietest. I've been there several times, always in teh Braodway section, which is the farthest from Melody Hall, and found it peaceful and relaxing. I have never had run-ins with rowdy tour groups or loud kids, and I'm always able to get a room close to the parking lot for easy access to my rental car, which puts me farther from the noise of the pool areas.

I'm also a fan of the food court at Music. The food court at Sports was just as good, though the food court at Pop left something to be desired in quality.

I've always found the rooms at Music to be spotless and the Mousekeeping to be excellent.

We stayed at Music earlier this month. Our 3 rooms were all clean. My MIL, the Clorox Queen, gave the hotel her stamp of approval. I felt the resort was quieter than Pop.
