We will be arriving at ASMu in 7 days so I'm starting to think what to pack and what not to pack. Does ASMu have soap, shampoo, AND conditioner in each of the rooms?

Are there hairdryers in the room? What about the rumors that they no longer provide Mickey soaps/shampoo?

Hairdryers are not included in each room, but are available upon request. Call Housekeeping to request a hair dryer. Allow plenty of time for the delivery, as the typical wait is more than 30 minutes.
And, yes, bad news on the great souvenir shampoo bottles and Mickey soaps. ASM has installed shampoo and body wash dispensers in all showers. You are provided with a small Mickey hand soap to use at the sink.

CAN Anyone confirm this at ASMu??? If so is this a shampoo and Conditioner or just shampoo?

Ps. If this info is true does it bother anyone else touching a dispenser used by previous guests?

I have not yet stayed at ASMu. I stayed at Pop last year and there was no dispenser. I got Mickey soaps and the shampoo/conditioner combo. After I returned home, I remember reading threads on this topic, and it seems like the dispenser system at each of the values had been replaced in favor of the individual soaps and shampoos. I think there is also a hairdryer in each value room.

We got back last week from ASMu Family Suites and there was individual soaps and combination shampoo/conditioner. No dispensers.

That is very old news from allearsnet.

The shampoo and body wash dispensers in all showers were removed from all of the All Star resorts the summer of 2005.

The newlyrefurbished rooms at All Star Music have wall unit hair dryers.

I have a photo from last year. This year they have the new H2O mickey soap and shampoo so the soap and shampoo in the photo is not the same that will recieve this time.

Yes, you get bars of Mickey facial soap, body soap, and shampoo/conditioner. I actually just opened one of the Mickey bars of soap my daughter brought home with her.

If you leave a $5 tip on your pillow after your first night as a tip, you'll get extra everything every morning the rest of the trip.

Thanks everyone for the info...Yes that is weird that the all ears net info is so off considering you said the dispensers were taken out in 2005!

The last 2 trips to the value resorts (latest being a few weeks ago at ASSp), the soap and shampoo/conditioner have been the old-style Mickey soaps (black wrapper) and shampoo/conditioner. Only saw H2O at the BWVs when I moved there.

Maybe they're using up the old inventory at the value resorts???

I was at All Star Music September 12-19 and they had the new H2O soap and shampoo.

I would also guess they were finishing up the old inventory at All Star Sports during your last stay.
