All Star Music Questions

Hi Everyone,
Two weeks until we are there and I'm soooo excited! I'm in the process of making sure I have everything I need and have started packing, so I have a few questions....
1. I know that there is some sort of shampoo/soap dispenser in the shower, how many of you use this product or do you bring your own?
2. We are planning on eating most of our breakfasts in our room and I don't think there is a little coffee maker in the room, would housekeeping have any if I called for one?
3. What about pool towels? Do they provide them? Should we bring our own from home?
4. How many people leave tips for the maid, and how much should you leave?
Any other tips or tricks for staying at All Star Music would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You can request a coffee maker from the front desk. You just use your room towels for the pool and request additional towels from housekeeping.
I always bring my own shampoo, but my DH always uses whatever is available.
Tips are generally determined by the level of service I receive from Mousekeeping. It is not a "tipped" position so I generally keep that in mind when considering what to leave.
As for tips, I can't come up with any other than if you are in a building that is close to one of the other resorts you can always hop on the bus at that resort instead of walking all of the way to the bus stop at your resort.

Neither hubby or I like the soap/shampoo in the dispensers..I would suggest bringing your own.

Don't waste suitcase space with towels...just use the towels at the ASM. The maids leave the carts out with plenty of towels on them. We always just get extra right away in the morning...or grab them off the cart on our way back from the park in the afternoon/evening, for the next day.

I would just use the refillable coffee mugs..you have one, very small table in your room...I would't waste it with a coffee pot.

Don't they have towels at the pool for there....I didn't think you had to use your room towels for the pool... thanks..amy

Pay the extra $$ and stay in a preferred location- that is the only thing I will do differently next time!
