All Star Music Pools After Midnight

Hi All,

I'm heading to ASM for the last week of August. I read that the pool hours can change but tend to be 8 AM to midnight.

Does anyone have any experience using the pools outside of these hours? I don't think there's a gate, and I'm positive I've seen many people using them on off-hours before. It will just be me, and I won't make any noise : ). Do you think security will leave me be, or will I be asked to leave?

With the recent deaths by drowning, I'm going to bet Security will ask you to leave.

What drownings? Do you mean the alligator attack? I think the situations are pretty different....

No, last summer there was a drowning at the value resorts. Before that two more. That is what started the gating of the pools and limiting of the pool hours.

I'm not sure why you would even ask that question. If the pool closes at midnight why would you be special enough to go in after it was closed, even if it was just you and you were quiet. This is the problem with many people thinking the rules don't apply to them. I'd hope security would ask you to leave. Maybe you could go back into MK after hours, you know since it just you and you'll be quiet.

Pool hours let guests know when services (towels, lifeguards, toys, flotation devices) will be available, and so that guests know they have to be quiet. Pool hours also lets hotels boot guests out of the pool if they're causing a problem.

To be frank, people LIKE YOU, who are so desperate to be self-righteous and condescending that they post nasty messages on travel boards, are the problem.

I'm not trying to be self-righteous at all, I just think there is a reason places post hours. I'm not a world traveler so if this is the case all around the world, then I apologize. If I see hours listed, I usually follow them. But it is good to know that many places don't care if you follow their hours.

I was at All star Music in April- there is a fence surrounding the entire main pool. I don't know if they lock it at night after the pool closes.
