I read on one of the threads that all of the value resorts have pb, jelly ketchup, mustard, mayo, sugar, splenda and equal in the food courts. I also read this on the Pop resort thread.

Yes...they have all these but you must pay for peanut butter. They also sell single size cream cheese.

We will be arriving at ASMu next Wednesday and would like to know if the refrigerators are installed yet. Anyone know? Is there a picture of what the interiors look like? Do you think it will be cold enough for lunch meat?

I can't say if they have finished at ASMu yet but they are beverage coolers....not refridgerators. The difference being that a beverage cooler is not cold enough for medication or perishable foods.

A few days ago I changed my reservations to 2 connecting rooms at AsMu and the lady who I spoke to said that they are not beverage coolers the are refridgerators. Also on the Pop thread there are photos of the refridgerators empty and full with perishables. I hope this helps.

above is the link to the Pop thread where you can find pictures of the new fridges. There is a picture of one that is empty and one that is full of perishables. Some guests say that they are a bit smaller than the ones in the suites. I hope this helps.

This is a question for anyone who has stayed in a family suite lately..I have been reading lately that some of the resorts are switching to the coffee pod units and I am wondering if anyone knows if the all star music has the regular coffee pots they always have had or have they switched to the pods?

Would love to know the answer to this question too? Any chance they will add coffee pots to the standard rooms? Tks

The beverage coolers are in - kept water quite cold but I am not sure how perishables would do - you could always take a small refrigerator thermometer and check the temperature.........

No coffee pots in the regular rooms - I wish the values would put them in.

The free Wi Fi was wonderful!

I just passed along the info that I read on the wdwinfo blog. It supposedly came direct from Disney.

I don't know who to believe at this point I keep hearing different things. I'm just glad that I will be able to keep water and juice cold at the least.

Personally, I tend to think that the info here is far more accurate than what you get from the CM's. I have been offered advice on the phone from the CM's (more than once) that I knew was totally wrong based on experience and what I had already been told on here.

Wow fridge in the rooms is awesome!! Having the dining plan we always have leftovers but no where to put them so we leave it behind.. I will make sure and pack ziplocks to put stuff in for the fridge, glad to see all the up to date info here.
We usually stay at POP but we got a pin code for stayplaydine that got us free dining and extra discount so we are happy!
Got ASMU cuz POP was sold out for the pin code, so this will be a new fun experience. I will be following this thread so share all the good info!

Just got back from last week staying in a family suite. My inlaws visited for a night and stayed in a typical room. Both had LG flat panel TVs, presumably LCD, about 32" size.

because some people are like my DH who turns on the tv and plops on the couch the second he gets in the room!! I put the kibosh on that pronto. THere will be no tv-watching at Disney World (or any vacation really), lol.
If I had my way I'd unplug the tv and pretend it was broken. In fact, I just may do that next vacation.
