All Star Music Family Suites

Hi Everyone!! We are thinking about adding the ASMu Family Suites to our list of possible hotels to stay at on our next WDW vacation. But I just wanted some info on these rooms. Are they worth the money, we are AAA members so we could get a discount on the room. So any info or pics you have would be great!!! Thanks!!

There have been past threads on this same topic with room layouts. do a search on this board and they should pop up for you to examine. wdwinfo.com will give you a menu for the resorts and you should be able to get more specifics there as well. We thought about it for our June 08 trip, but we wouldn't be using the kitchen at all and I didn't like the fact that 2 of us would be sleeping on "fold-outs" which can be a nightmare in comfort (I'm not implying these are uncomfortable but didn't want to take the chance).
Based on those reasons, I'm surprising the family with connecting rooms at the ASMo. We'll each have our own bed and 2 to a bathroom which will be heaven Cost was similar--connecting rooms were a hair bit cheaper per day.

Thanks for the info. We will have five so we are looking for a hotel that won't cost alot. Pop Century with connecting rooms is on our list. I also think you are right about the pull-out beds. That might be uncomfy!! Thanks!!

Hi Princess Brittany, thinking of going again already. Why not, I am always planning my next trip.

I have posted a link from minnie61650 that tells everything you need to know about the AS Music Family Suites. We will be there in December for 8 nights and looking forward to it. We just didn't fit well in the AKL.

The pull outs are not the standard pullouts, they do not have the bar like the old fashioned pull outs have, the cushions are used as the support giveing greater comfort. There are pictires in the link that helped me make the decision to stay there.

The extra cost of the ASMUFS is only about $20/night more than 2 standard rooms at Pop, and this way, you are guaranteed to be in the same room. Connecting rooms are not guaranteed

Your AAA discount isn't a given. Only so many rooms available with discount. My Dsis was tried for 3 mos to get one with discount but never came available. She stayed anyway and paid the full price. She really liked them after a few stays at the cabins.

Princess Suzanne, we are always thinking of going to WDW. That is the first thing I think of when I wake up every morning. But this time my grandmother is going so we can't stay in our beloved AKL, unless we want to spend alot of money. This time were going to try a value or moderate. Thanks for the info on the pullout couch.

Also HopperFan, we know it is hard to get a AAA rate but we will cross our fingers!! Thanks for the info too!!
