all star music buses

please can you tell me more about the buses from the resorts to theme parks etc and how often there run in September

WDW advertises that buses arrive about every 20 minutes. In our experience, if you just miss a bus another one will be by in around 10-15 minutes. And just an FYI, where you stay doesn't make a difference. All the buses are dispatched from a central location, there are no buses just dedicated for a certain resort all the time. The more people who are there, the more buses they send.

is there a code for e.g. mk= magic kingdom etc

This is located right next to the main lobby. There are different sign markers with what bus goes to which park. There is also a "computer screen" located near the doors to go into the lobby, that will state how long it is til the next bus and what hours the park is open and even the EMH for the alotted park that day.

We were at All Star Sports last week, and for the most part I felt the buses ran more than every 20 minutes. We two pretty bad waits that were around 40 minutes. DS to sports (the people behind us probably waited an hour unless they kept bringing buses once we left) and sports to MK, but other than that I think we maybe had 1 or 2 other times we waited around 20 minutes. And we used the buses quite a bit. From sports to parks, parks to parks, and parks to sports we were in line for a bus i'd say 5 times on average a day so the couple hiccups we had were not the norm.
