My grandma is going with us in May and will need a refridgerator for medication. We are staying at All Star Music. Do they charge for friges? How much? and how big is it?

With 3 adults and our luggage we want to make sure we have enough room!

Thanks in Advance

I personally have not seen the med fridges but here's what I've been told.

If you have a Dr's note that states you require the fridge for meds one will be provided at no charge. It is a VERY small fridge that will only hold meds....it won't hold food or anything else.

When we stayed at ASMo last fall DD had a bad ear infection, so we had to have a fridge for her antibiotics. I told them at check-in and voila...we had a fridge in our room. It was a dormitory sized fridge that would hold food and milk for her as well.:thumbsup2

It is the same fridge you would get if you were paying for it. It won't hold much, but it will hold meds and a few food items or bottles of water or soda.

You should NEVER give a Dr's note, that is against the ADA rules/laws. All you have to do is tell them that you need it for meds and there will be no charge.

I see the OP decided on a moderate resort and doesn't need the information since the moderates all have refrigerators.
I thought I would clarify anyway.

Both of the above posters are correct.
You could get dorm sized refrigerator or you could get a small refrigerator, the general size of a shoe box. That small one is basically just big enough for the medications.
What you get depends on what is available.

Just to throw in......I was told directly from WDW....I was booking a room for a diabetic friend. They said that documentation was required or the standard charge could be applied.
