It's a great resort. We stayed there last summer. Fantasia building. Loved it.

Only down side is that Asmo is the last stop on the all-star bus route. first they pick up sports, then music, then movies. You get off last also.

We stayed at ASMo, GF, and AKL during our trip in 2002. Of those three ASMo would be #2, with AKL #1 and GF#1.

We were in the Toy Story section (even though we had requested Dalmation). It was a short walk to the food court and bus stop. We really enjoyed it. You can not go wrong for the price.

We also stayed in the Toy Story Building....The kids absolutely loved it...It was very close to the food court, bus stop and pool. I would recommend ASMO to anyone!

We stayed there for 10 days last fall and we liked it. We were in the Toy Story section, that wasn't too far from the main pool or the main building/food court at all. My kids loved the huge icons everywhere, lots of color, just a lot of fun! The food court had a lot of choices, and everything we had was good. It was the last stop on the bus route, but a lot of times, Movies had it's own bus. We didn't have to wait long at all for busses, one time we waited about 15 minutes for an Epcot bus in the morning, that was the longest wait we had. Yes, the busses were crowded at park closing, but that's going to happen when you have that many people going from the same place to the same place at the same time. No way around it.

Enjoy your trip!!!!

We have stayed here many times and we have really liked it. The resort is really cute with all of the icons and courtyards neatly themed. This place is a true extension of your Disney experience. In other words, you don't leave the magic in the parks! Be sure to explore the grounds. There are fun things to do in each courtyard and wonderful photo opportunities. The only downside is that the rooms are very small and IMO a bit "tacky" but overall we don't have any bad memories or experiences to report. Have a great trip!

We just got back from our stay at the ASMo and we would definitaly stay there again. We were in the Toy Story section also and everything was close enough that it was a very short walk yet it's far enough back that you don't get any noise from the pool or playground. Very well worth it, IMO.

We stayed there a few years ago and loved it!! We stayed in the Toy Story side and it was great. My DS's loved it. If you get the opportunity walk thru to the other All Star resorts (Sports & Music). :)

We are staying there in July, I can't wait! :earboy2:

We're going to be there too, July 19 -24! We're so excited! :goodvibes We were in the Mighty Ducks 2 building. We loved this hotel and for no more than we were ever there, except to sleep and change clothes, this hotel was perfect for us! And you can't beat the price either.

DH and I and some friends stayed in the Dalmations section in March. THis was our first time staying on site and we found it to be very convenient. We were close to the lobby, food court and bus stop. The food court had a wide variet of food and it pretty good. The guys on the trip enjoyed the arcade also.

The only bad experience we had was with a friend's room. THree times during the trip her key didn't work. SHe came to our room to use the phone and call the front desk. Sometimes no one answered! Other times they told her it would be an hour before they can let her into the room-- we had just gotten back from PI and it was after 2am- this was unnacceptable. We had to go to the lobby and they gave her a new key. I just don't understand why they didn't ask her to do this in the first place.

Anyway, besides that everything was great. The rooms are small, but we were on a budget so it was fine. WHo spends a lot of time in the hotel when you're at WDW anyway???!!!

You'll have a great time!!!

Good-

-Very cute theming! The resort is just wild, one of a kind, pure Disney, the kids will love all the giant characters. I thought the best areas were the Dalmations section & the Toy Story one. Both very close to the lobby, pool and food court without being on top of the pool area.

- Food court is good. Not as good as the Pop Century but still offers a wide variety and lots of cheaper options.

Bad-

-Rooms are small and only offer double beds.
- No actual closet just a bar in the corner.
-We had major problems with the neighbor noise, maybe ask for a corner room to cut down on the chance of that. No noise from above though. Also in the morning we heard a lot of noise from outside as well.

We didn't use the Disney transportation though because we had a car so i can't comment on that.
