all star movies

We will be staying at all star Movies I have read a lot of post and this is the resort that we have chosen. We told the kid's last night and the did not belive us. They have never been anywhere outside of Missouri (they have only been to Branson and they loved that), so this is there first airplane ride and everything. We are going in Aug. so we have a while to wait, but I have so much planning to do that I hope it goes by fast. We are taking disposible camera's so that the kid's can take there own picture Megan is 13 and Chase is 11. It will be funny on what picture they take but it will also tell's us what each one for them like what. We also got the dinning plan and the park hopper can anyone till us a little bit about both of these plan's.

Welcome to the DIS from another Missourian!!!

We stayed at All Star Movies during our May 2000 trip and we really liked it and we didn't even have kids at the time. We stayed in the Dalmation building which was a short distance from the food court/pool, etc.. The food court was decent with lots of selections and we thought the bus service was pretty good. Overall we had a great time and we plan on returning to ASMo on a future trip.

I don't know much about the new dining plan but in my past experiences they are really not worth the money. You can usually do much better paying your own way for meals. Check out the menus on allearsnet.com and get an idea of the places you would like to eat and how much it would cost you and then balance that against the cost of the dining plan.

Have fun planning your trip....it can be addicting!

Also from Missouri, just don't live there anymore.

I did a lot of research about the eating plan and for us it will at least break us even if not save us money. We have two kids and they pool all the meals together so anyone in your party can use them. You can go here and see if it'd be worth it for you http://www.touringplans.com/MYWDining.html

We're going after my dh comes home from Iraq and I can't wait, I just wish I had dates.
