im staying at the all stars in sept {5th} for 2 weeks ,with my wife and 2 children aged 8 and 4 and need some info on the place


is there a fridge in room?

is there a shop on site or with in walking distance that sells food items-milk ,pop,crisps ,bread ?

can you get a beer in hotel?

how far is international drive? no car

how far are the parks away?

is the hotel and parks busy in sept?

is the hotel ok?

Stayed there twice 99,01 great facility for what you pay for. Food court is perfect,not that $$. I got beer in the souvenir shop, sold as singles. The transportation to the parks was great did not have to wait more than 10 minutes at any time. Refrigerator is $10 a night. We got it both times for July trips to keep water cold to take to the parks. this time we are not going to get it, just fill water bottles at fountains. I can,t remember what else you asked, hope that answered your questions. We loved All star movies and were going there this year but got a deal we could not turn down. Have fun

1) You may request a fridge, but they are not guarenteed and you have to pay for it. A better option is to get ice from the ice machine and put it in the "trash can" they give you for recycling and keep stuff cold in there. Just replenish the ice every day and you are fine.

2) There is a section of the gift shop that sells many of these things, or some can be purchased right in the food court.Tip-milk is cheaper in the gift shop than the food court.

3) You may buy beer, but be prepared for the $$$.There is also a bar pool-side for beer & mixed drinks.

4) No idea how far away International Drive is.

5) Parks are far enough away that you can't walk .By busses it's not too bad depending on where you are going. Not too long in any event.

6) Have never been in Sept., only in July and it's pretty busy then

7) The hotel is great! Our kids had a ball at the pool, laundry room is near the pool and we never had to wait for a machine, busses were prompt, CM's helpful at check-in & check-out,room was clean and noise was not a problem,and the Mickey wake-up calls were a nice way to start the morning!

You can buy beer in the food court and you can buy alcohol and beer at the bar but just remember that it is very $$$ and you can only buy one drink (beer or alcohol) per I.D. at a time.

Are you taking a towncar from the airport? Many offer a grocery stop on the way to your resort. You could pick up those items from the store and probably save some $$$

We stayed at ASMu about 10 years ago and loved it - the theming is awsome. Staying at ASMo this time.

My family has enjoyed our stays at All Star Movies - in fact, its my youngest DDs favorite hotel!!! (When we were staying at the GF for Christmas, she kept asking to go visit All Star Movies!)

International Drive is about a 20 minute drive. If you are using a town car service from the airport, you can ask about their rates for pick up to/from International Drive.

Your children will love the hotel - especially the pool area! There are lots of great picture opportunities too!

We've been only once in Sept - and we didn't find it crowded at all!
