MY FAMILY AND I {KIDS AGED 8 AND 4} ARE STAYING AT THE ALL STAR MOVIES IN SEPT ,IS THE HOTEL ANY GOOD AND WILL THE KIDS LIKE IT.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET TO THE PARKS ?

We stayed there in July 02 for our first trip to WDW. We got a preferred room or something so we were a little closer to pool and lobby/food court. The pool was huge and the food court was really handy......refillable mugs, chicken strips etc. My kids loved it so much they were upset to find out we weren't staying there this summer. The buses worked great for us. We did get up very early to catch the first bus to the parks. You're really close to AK and it really didn't seem that bad to MGM or MK. I didn't even have a problem with the rooms. They are small but we weren't in there that much and my kids don't notice stuff like that. IMO you will be very satisfied.

We loved staying at the ASMo (All Star Movies). You couldn't beat the price. When we were there in July there were teenage Brazilian tour groups all over the place! The room was a little small but not THAT much smaller. I really think you'll be happy. It's always nice knowing that you're not going to go broke on the room alone! The food court had a very nice assortment of foods and snacks. I would buy the refillable mugs. They can save a lot of $$$ if you're all soda drinkers.

Being at the ASMo, the bus stopped only at the All Stars resorts and since they're all in the immediate area, it doesn't take long!

We just stayed there. We were in the Toy Story building, close to the pools and the food court but no extra fee. Our boys ( age 10 and 5) really loved it. The pools were great- they even made us walk all the way to the Duck Pond pool one day

The food was good, the rooms clean and the theme totally Disney. As we drove we chose to use our car and not use the busses. We quickly got everywhere we wanted to go in minutes (o.k., we took one wrong turn one night on the way back from Epcot because we were looking for a gas station - never is one when you need it ).

Rooms were a little on the small side, but hey we only were in them to sleep or change. They are a great value. Your kids will love them.
