All-Star movies vs Pop Century

I'm an All-Stars veteran, and it seems to me that the buses share more on the return trips to the hotel from the parks. They're always really crowded then, I mean packed. Going to the parks in the morning it's not nearly as crowded.

This wasnt my experience on my last trip (Oct). When did you stay? Going back to the resorts from the parks, each resort always had their own dedicated buses. Then again i guess it all depends when you leave the parks. In my experience, I normally left park closing at either MK or Epcot. For both parks, it was usually their own dedicated buses. I was at sports, sometimes if music came first, i'd take that then just walk across to sports. And yes, buses are always packed going back to resorts no matter if you stay at pop or all stars. Both are packed like crazy.

Yup, that is what we saw - other than MK. We have been at Allstars probably 6+ times in last couple years. We have shared going but only when we leave later, like after 10 am.

December. Last trip was the first week of December.

We haven't stayed at Pop yet (25 more days!), but we stayed at ASMo last September and loved it. We had a preferred room in the Toy Story section, and my kids went bananas for it. Like, they liked Toy Story before, but they came back completely obsessed with Buzz and Woody. We liked the food court (there was a lot more variety than POFQ's, IMO), and the pool was nice. The resort was much smaller than I had anticipated, so that was a plus too. We never shared buses with the other resorts, but I suppose sharing could have happened when we weren't on the bus.

I've stayed at Pop and the All Stars, and I don't find much difference. I do like the food courts at the All Stars better than the one at the Pop. I also find the All Stars to be a bit quieter than the Pop, as far as the public spaces go.

It depends on what you like as well. ASMO gives you SO MUCH nostalgia and feel like you're in a magical place.

Again, thank you for all the responses. One last question, on my Pop Century preferred room reservation it states :
"Close to Classic Hall, Dining, Shopping and Transportation 2 Double Beds or 1 King Bed". It never gives me the option to pick the 2 Double bed. How do I make sure I get the 2 double beds instead of the King? Do I have to call?

You do not have to request double beds. They will automatically give you double beds unless you request it.
