The statement I am making is all true. Everything I have stated, I loved Disney and I just can not bring myself to understanding that this truly happened and still is kinda on going. Please read my blog disneyworldresortinjurys.blogspot.com

If anyone can tell me who to contact at Disney to fix this, I promise to keep an open mind. I miss the Mouse and want to have a reason to re post saying Disney has done right.

It sounds like you have gone through all the appropriate avenues to resolve this. It may be time to let it go.

Agreed. There's too much against you. The whole bathroom incident is just "he said, she said". With no pictures or real evidence, there's nothing. Hope you can find some peace and move forward.

So you sign up on this board so your story can be heard?

Ok, I skimmed your story-two things stood out Reedy Creek suggested medical care due to your blood sugar-not injury. And Morgan and Morgan could not help you- let it go.

You are all braver than me. I was curious, but didn't want to go to a website from a first time poster. It sounded a little suspicious to me.

First time poster, horrible story, wants Disney to "make it right".

Sorry, OP, but if your lawyer dropped the case, it's time to move on.

Seems like there is more to the story to me. If Disney thinks they have no fault and an attorney (who would jump on something they thought they could win over a big company) won't take the case I think it's time to move on.

I have a hard time believing everything in the blog to be quite honest.

I don't walk in your shoes and don't know your battles. I can only compare your situation to mine. my 3 year old fell out of bed at asmu several years ago. an ambulance was called we were taken to ER, taken care of very well. she had broken her collar bone. I filled out all the paperwork at hospital, gave insurance info. took a cab back to hotel, thanked Disney for the cab ride back, that they paid for, and waited for bills to hit insurance. I didn't ask anyone to make a claim against Disney, file police, accident, injury reports, I just moved on with life. and guess what happened....my insurance never got a claim. I can only assume the mouse picked up the tab, and it may be a stretch but I think because I didn't start the blame game "why didn't you give me a bed rail?" "why are your beds so high?" "how many other kids have fallen out of bed?" it was just quietly taken care of.

I think your blog is going to do you more harm than good. Let it go.

It is good for a laugh at least. Reminds me of my ex-SIL, she always had a "story" too.

Lawyer turned down the case (lawyers will take cases where they feel they can recover something), Medicare paid the medical bills, at any rate the lawyer says you do not have an account balance for the medical treatment. You've already contacted Disney and they have officially denied responsibility.

If what you want is compensation for negligence, and probably for pain and suffering, you'll need to either sue Disney yourself (not recommended unless you want to spend some cash on court filings) or find another lawyer who will take the case. I am not sure how you are thinking Disney can "fix this" except for extra compensation and they've already denied responsibility.

Medicare and medicaid are not the same thing. It is not insurance. Medicaid helps pay hospital bills for low income citizens.

Okay, let me put on my flameproof suit.

OP, I'm a big girl, too. Your avatar pic is on your blog, but, again, I'm plus sized, too, so I'm totally not body shaming.

It sounds to me like what happened is maybe your weight caused the toilet to lurch. You might have hit your head, but that wouldn't cause your blood sugar to spike. Or, it's possible that your high blood sugar caused the dizziness that made you hit your head.

From what it looks like, you hit your head while going potty but were obviously ambulatory, and medicare paid your bills. It really kind of looks like you're looking for a payday here.

Seriously? You recieved a letter from Disney saying they weren't responsible for the injury, and then tried to apply for a pre-settlement loan? It says in your blog that you're on Social Security Disability, so it's not like you'd lost wages.

Also, even if things went down the way you say they did, you wouldn't have been injured if you'd shut the bathroom door.

Are you trolling?

You guys are all saying way nicer things than what I'm thinking.

I agree, let it go. You can't get something for nothing, even from Disneyworld.
