All Star Movies Opening Date

Was able to book ASM today for 3/22 to 3/29/2021. Is there any rumors that it will not open as planned?

No but if they don't they will move you at there cost somewhere else. I expect it to open especially with spring break starting around that time

Fixed it for you.

While anything is possible and they adjusted the date before, there haven't been any known indications the current date won’t hold.

EXTREMELY unlikely Movies will not open as planned.

Movies is scheduled to be one of the Host Resorts for several Cheerleading/Dance Events.



The Quest Recreational Championship will be April 16-17 hosted by Pop Century.

UCA Open All Star Championship will be April 17-18 hosted by Pop Century.

National Dance Team Championship will be April 22-23 with Pop Century "partially" hosting along with All-Star Movies and Coronado Springs.

The National High School Cheerleading Championship will be held April 23-25 with Pop Century "partially" hosting along with All-Star Movies and Coronado Springs.

The College Cheerleading and Dance Championship normally held in January will now be held April 27-28.

Traditionally it is held at All-Star Sports,but this year Pop Century will be hosting.

Also for the below events,It doesn't look like the names of their Host Resorts are available yet.

• The Summit: April 30-May 2, 2021
• The Dance Summit: May 2-3, 2021
• The Dance Worlds May 6-7, 2021
• The Cheerleading Worlds: May 8-10, 2021
• The D2 Summit: May 13-15, 2021

Not to disagree with you WEDWDW... I've been around long enough to know you know your stuff, but I could see it not opening especially, if it isn't the main resort that is hosting. CSR has a lot of space. I think it's going to feel weird with Movies being past the other two non-open All Star Resorts and spring break weeks still seem to have a bit of availability for a few places, Movies and CSR included. I'm not rooting against it. In general I don't like the idea of many resorts sitting unopened. I do think it's plausible that they don't open just yet though from a cost, capacity/availability stand point.

We are booked at Movies 3/30 to 4/11 and I think it will open. There are only 5 other resorts I could switch to on my dates (pop, aoa, car, Saratoga or GF). If they don’t open, then they will move me somewhere with no upgrade fee so not too worried.

Definitely exciting.

It will feel close to the feeling of a brand new Resort opening for the first time I would think.

The Cast will be super excited-very special day for them.

Noticed Disney added operating hours to the ASMovies pool bar and food court starting 3/22. Great to things coming back online, bit by bit.
