All Star Movies discounts?

Hi everyone, We are going to Disney World Dec. 15-20 and I wonder if anyone knows of any discount codes for the rooms at All Star Movies or what my chances might be of one becoming available? Also, we will be traveling from NC and stopping in Savannah for one night on the way down. Any info I can get about inexpensive Savannah hotels would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Disney Club

I believe you can just call Disney directly and ask if any of these discounts are available for your time period. Of course, you must have the appropriate membership.

There may be Annual Passholder's and Florida Resident discounts at that time, though I'm assuming you don't have an Annual Passport and aren't a Florida Resident.

Your best bet may be a AAA discount. They run about 20% for the All-Stars.

You may also want to compare the prices at the Downtown Disney hotels. We opted to stay at the Courtyard by Marriott in Downtown Disney for an upcoming trip because (1) we could save about $100 and (2) the rooms are about twice the size. Plus, you're still staying "at DisneyWorld".

I don't know of any great savings at Savannah, but went there once on a business trip. What a beautiful city!

I would suggest staying in Darien, Poolier, or Brunswick rather than actually in Savannah. If you go into Savannah it will take you quite a bit off the interstate and out of your way. There are lots of hotels right off the interstate that are very good and well-priced.

We live in coastal NC too and drive down to WDW in one day, only a 9 hr trip from our house...woohoo!

Thank you everyone for your replies. As this may be our only Disney trip we are definitely staying on site, hence the value resort. I guess we will join AAA and use that discount. Now if I could just find a discount for a AAA membership!

wdisneelvr, you must live down the coast a ways from us, it is a 12 hour drive from here and although we could do it in one long drive, I do not want to arrive at my vacation exhausted, whew! We are just a few miles into NC from VA, in Dare County. Seems like anything from here is a long way.

Can anyone tell me a specific hotel they have stayed in in the area near Savannah?

(I have a tommy too!!) have you looked into the winter dream packages? They seem like a good deal to me. Anyone else price tickets, rooms seperately? You're not military are you? Just another discount. But I would check out the winter packages on the Disney site. It may be worth it.

I have not checked out the Winter Dream package because I believe they include an Ultimate Park Hopper. We have booked the room at ASMo and paid for one night. We are planning to buy three 4 day PH as we will be there for 4 full days. As I understand it the PH passes never expire so if something were to happen we would still have the passes (if we got sick and missed a park day, etc.). We will be staying for 5 nights total. I will check the Winter Dream package though. Thanks!
