All Star AP rates

For those of you who got an AP rate for AS---there was a range of AP prices of 49-77 a night? Are any of you Florida Residents that got prices around 54 a night with tax? Just curious--my husband called and we were quoted 67 a night with our AP discount, but we are only staying there the Saturday night--before our DVC check-in. Were we quoted the wrong price? Just curious because of the different prices people said that they got.

I have heard a few. If you get the $49/night that would be the $54.88/night with tax you are speaking of. I saw a lot of $69 a night. I didn't call because I already have $61.60 AAA rate for Nov. 7 to 10. I may call next week and see if the $49 is available and change to that. I have also seen $79 which is crazy because rack rate is only $77. Value season would be the $49 AP rate I believe.

Not AS, but I applied AP rate to Pop Century ressie for 12/23 - 1/1 and got a rate of $49(they didn't give me a nightly rate only total stay of $984 - 2 rooms for 9 nights, so that is what I figured out nightly) I am still in shock that I even got a discount on Pop Century as it will just be opening, and $49 a night for Xmas week. will be glad to see this in writing.
