All Season dining

I personally think that it won't be offered again. The theme park landscape has changed A LOT since it was last offered, and I just don't see them reintroducing the all season dining until after Covid has been brought under control. So *maybe* in 2022? But I'm almost certain you won't see it return this year.

I know out here in California they have told us that our all season dining will be extended by at least the amount of time the park has been closed plus some bonus time. So that tells me they do plan to bring it back. I would think the same would apply across all their parks.

Nothing has been said yet beyond March

They extended the dining plans to ensure that guests received the value for which they paid (ie a full year's worth of meals), and the bonus time was a courtesy to thank patrons for their patience and loyalty. I personally don't think that extension suggests a return of the plan.

Boy was that a great deal for my nephew who lives in Orlando. He and a friend on days off from work would go regularly just for two hours or so for lunch.

It was an INCREDIBLE deal for locals! So incredible that it HAD to be a money loser for them, which is the big reason I don't think they will reintroduce it until things have been back to "normal" (even if its a new "normal") for a while.

Of course, I'm just guessing as much as anyone else, so I could be totally wrong LOL. But my accounting side just doesn't see how it would be financially viable for them to offer it again, plus it would seem weird for their meal year to run March to February and not January to December. It will be interesting to see what they decide! popcorn::

I'm guessing they could do like they did before- start it in the fall (that's what they did for the current one, and what they did for the first all-season dining plan)

I know Knott's Berry Farm out here has done a similar program for several years before Sea World did it, so I am guessing it makes money, probably by getting people to come more often and end up buying more souvenirs because they feel like since they aren't spending money on food they have money to buy merchandise, additional snacks, etc. Now grated Sea World San Diego did it a little differently in that you could get food every four hours rather than just limiting it to two per day, so it was possible on the days with longer park hours to get 3 or very rarely 4 meals in a single day if you did it carefully. That probably did loose money, the all season drinks make a fortune though.l as drinks cost virtually nothing.

Additionally they rely on the fact that not everyone who buys it will use it as much and therefore overall they will make a profit.
