I have had the card for two years and always pay it on time. Use about $1500-$3500 a month. Am I missing something? Does it come with your bill, via email or as a letter?

Any info will help since this is the first I have heard of it.

WE have gotten emails as well as post cards. Everyone doesn't get the offer, you have to sign up by phone or internet and even if you get it sometiems, you always don't get it. It's a 5 or this time 3 times the disney dollars earned on sometimes specific categories (like gas, grocery, airline and dining quite often this group) sometimes it's all purchases and there is a monthly threshold amout that you have to spend first before earning the addl amt of disney dollars. Regualar disney dollars post as usual to your stmt. The bonus portion (extra 4 or 2 %) are earned on the actual month (1st though month end) not the stmt date month timeframe. The bonus amt is posted in a stmt or 2 following when you earn them as well (most likely has to do with different timing of the Disney dollars earning timeframe) Hope this helps. No rhyme or reason as to who gets the offers. I received one for every quarter of 2008 and only 1 in 2009. None this year so who knows! I did have a good offer Oct-Dec 2009, no categories and I earned the bonus 4 times on all purchases over 250 per month. I could earn up to 200 in bonus portion. I pretty much maxed out the extra 200 earnings! Got them all before our trip in Feb! Anyway some state that the max for the offer is only 100 bonus dollars. YOu can always call Disney Visa to see if you are included in the offer. They can give the code and phone number to sign up if it's avail. to you. For my oct-dec offer it never came in the regular mail, the email came one month into it but I did call and sign up with the info I received from Disney Visa over the phone.

We just got back from Disney and our WDW tickets were classified as Dining and Entertainment...so not sure if they will catch that and declassify them from the "dining" category. Anyone know?

It would actually offset all the grocery stores that are classified as "other". I am not sure if I've seen any grocery story classified as groceries from reading all your posts!

Oh, well....my limit is $1250 and my only chance was this month after spending lots of money eating out at Disney!

Hi, I got the same offer and I have the same problem with my grocery shopping listed as "other" ( 3 different stores). But I did buy my airline tickets in April, so I'll be lucky if I get 2 extra points. So in April I spent $731 with $528 of it being airline tickets.
I've had the card for a year, my bills go up and down, between $200 and $700 a month. This was the first post card that I received. Maybe Visa wants me to be more consistent in my spending. lol

I get a booklet type card with the offer. You have to call/email and sign up for it when you get the offer.

I've had the card almost since they first offered it...we use it off and on (mainly when we have a trip coming up), and I've been offered this promo about 4 or 5 times (mostly in the last year).

Hi, just called, we use our card for groceries, gas...alot! but we pay it off every month too, so they don't get any interest $ from us...
we don't qualify, so I guess after our trip this aug, we'll stop using this card for a while and see what pops up...
how annoying, they NEVER reward the people who are consistent customers...

My husband just got approved for the Reward card $200 offer. I was hoping if we put my disney visa away for a few months, that we might get the 5x rewards offer on mine.

I get my statement online and did not see where the transactions are classified into categories. Where can I find that information?

I received my statement for May's purchases. It had the April bonus listed as "Triple Bonus Rewards Offer- Additional 2%". I received 5 bonus dollars for my April purchases as stated above. The bonus dollars received are from 2 months back because the offer is for the calendar month not the billing month so Visa has to wait 'till they get entire month's (April)purchases before they award the dollars. Oh, and I pay off my balance every month, too.

Although, I think it is really a 2X offer, as I already get 1X!

July 1 - September 30: eligible dollar over $500 in Dining, Airlines, Gas and Groceries. Same as this quarter.

BTW - it was in a green card shaped envelope, if I hadn't turned it over and saw Disney, I might have tossed it as junk.

I just got the 3x offer too! I thought Chase had forgotten about me, since this is the first offer I've received since last quarter 2009. I was pleased to see the minimum was $500 too; it seemed like they had been bumping my minimums up each time.

I checked my categories and all of my groceries show up as "other", and the gas shows up as "vehicle expenses". Will they count towards my dollars spent?
